Langley City is planning an Innovation District along Glover Road and Logan Avenue. This area will attract startups, entrepreneurs, and businesses, and will create more jobs to grow the local economy.

The Innovation District will be an attractive area to live, work, and play with new housing, lively public spaces, and a supportive environment for creative and tech companies.

It will also help connect Langley City’s downtown core with Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) and the future SkyTrain station, making our city easier for people to get around.

As part of the City’s Official Community Plan, this area was chosen for a mix of homes, innovative businesses, light industrial activity, and community spaces. Taller buildings with more homes, jobs, and services were encouraged to provide easy access to the SkyTrain, shops, and other amenities for more people.

The Glover Road Innovation District Plan will help guide future growth as an added layer to the City’s Official Community Plan. It will include:

  • A vision for the Glover Road Innovation District
  • How we will achieve this vision while respecting what already exists
  • A “land use plan”, showing where homes, businesses, and public spaces will go
  • Design guidelines to ensure new buildings fit the area’s look and feel
  • Complete the 5-minute survey below by February 11, 2026
  • Attend the in-person open house on February 4, 2026 to learn more about the project and share your feedback
