Langley City’s 2026 Financial Plan outlines how we invest in services, infrastructure, and community priorities. The City began its 2026 financial planning process in September 2025 and will continue until late 2025. At the end of 2025, City Council will consider adopting the 2026 Financial Plan bylaw.

This year, there will be an earlier adoption of the financial plan than in past years, allowing the City to begin its hiring and tendering processes sooner. This change is expected to result in more competitive quotes and a stronger pool of candidates for various city positions.
